We are American.  We will always maintain Loyalty, Integrity and Honesty in the communities we serve.  We will stand committed and united to uphold The Constitution of the United States of America.   We are a team and will stand against those who are unjust, and fight for those who are unable to fend for themselves.  We will always maintain Dignity, Loyalty and Honor in all of our deeds.

The purpose of the Association is to promote equality and professionalism in law enforcement. The objectives of the organization are to create a fraternal/professional association that provides its members and members of the community with career training; conferences and work shops to promote education and career advancements; mentoring; and a strong commitment to community service.
The NLPOA, is the largest Latino Law Enforcement Association in the United States. We are an advocacy group and are actively involved in almost every area of the judicial system, including the legislature.

OUR PURPOSE
OUR CREED
OUR OBJECTIVES

The primary goal of the NATIONAL LATINO PEACE OFFICERS ASSOCIATION is to increase the representation of Hispanics at the Federal, State, County and Local level of the Criminal Justice System and support our communities. We also work hard towards enhancing the image and professionalism of law enforcement in general, and Hispanics in particular.

  1. Serve as positive role models for our youth and expose them to the many career opportunities in the Criminal Justice System.

  2. Provide scholarships to worthy students pursuing a career in the Criminal Justice System.

  3. Serve as liaison between communities and law enforcement.

  4. Promote fundraising in order to finance our scholarships, youth sports, senior and community - related programs and activities.

  5. Network with other community organizations, civic leaders, business leaders and individuals who share our vision, programs and objectives.

  6. Promote unity, professionalism and support our members in law enforcement.

  7. Beyond these objectives, the Chapters have extended their concern by reaching out into their respective communities by responding to their needs in various ways.

"You are never strong enough that you don't need help."
